Camino Ruiz Agencies Limited is proud to be an investee of the Nutritious Foods Financing Facility (N3F)—a blended finance initiative led by the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) and Incofin Investment Management.
Launched in 2023, N3F supports high-impact agrifood SMEs in Sub-Saharan Africa to increase access to affordable, safe, and nutritious food while advancing environmental sustainability and gender equity.
Thanks to the catalytic investment and technical assistance from N3F, Camino Ruiz has made significant strides in strengthening our operations and increasing our impact:
- Trained 76 fish farmers on animal welfare, tilapia production, harvesting, and post-harvest handling—ensuring better fish health, reduced losses, and improved product quality.
- Improved product nutrition and traceability, supporting healthier consumer choices.
- Created employment for women and youth, particularly in fish farming and retail operations.
- Advanced sustainability goals by promoting climate-smart aquaculture practices and reducing environmental impact.
With the growing demand for affordable, healthy protein in Kenya and beyond, Camino Ruiz is well-positioned to scale our operations and deliver even greater social, nutritional, and environmental returns.
