Summit

Camino Ruiz joined the Farm’Innov launch on April 8, 2025, in Nairobi, represented by Head of Programs Loreen Wanjiru.

This event marks a pivotal milestone in the Farm’Innov Project, a flagship initiative under the broader Kenya–France agricultural and agri-food cooperation programme. The occasion brought together visionary founders, program partners, key industry stakeholders, and H.E. Arnaud Suquet, the French Ambassador to Kenya and Somalia, who recognized and applauded the innovative spirit of the participating companies.

We’re thrilled to share that Camino Ruiz is one of the 14 Kenyan companies selected to participate in this prestigious acceleration programme. Over the next 10 months, running until February 2026, the program will offer:

  • Tailored business consulting and training
  • One-on-one mentorship support
  • Immersive visits to France’s vibrant food industry

Our pitch, presented by Loreen Wanjiru, highlighted the impact and innovation behind our tilapia value chain model—from sustainable aquaculture practices to our ambitious goal of making fish an affordable, accessible, and preferred source of protein across Kenya and beyond.

Participating in this acceleration journey not only validates our mission but also opens up exciting opportunities for collaboration, learning, and growth in both local and international markets.

As we embark on this transformative journey with the support of the Farm’Innov project, we remain deeply committed to reshaping the agri-food sector through bold innovation, inclusive practices, and sustainable value chains.

We’re excited for what lies ahead and look forward to sharing updates as the program unfolds!
